Yeah that’s right, no foolin!

We’re giving away $100 USD cash to the winner of the PocketSynch.com product review contest. What do I have to do for my hundred bucks you say? Well that’s the fun part boys and girls. Simply look around your desk for that portable media product you just bought last weekend. Study it. Caress it…. OK you don’t have to caress it if you don’t want to. But you do have to have a digital camera so you can take pictures of it or the ability to take screenshots if you’re reviewing software. No stealing pictures from other websites!

Now really think about it. What made you buy it? Was it media hype? Did it beckon you from the corner of your eye as you passed by it in the electronics section? Or did you do like the rest of us and order it because you’ve been wanting it for a while and finally found a frickin online coupon code that hasn’t expired?

Either way we want to know about it. Do you love it? Does it suck? Do you chuckle inside when you catch people trying to take a peek at it while trying to act like they’re not? Well hold that thought! Are you holding it? Good, now open up your favorite text editor, or any software that will let you save your work, and start writing about it. Be sure to include the pros, cons, likes, dislikes, or whatever you feel like calling them.

What can you review? Well basically anything that you can use to take portable media on the go including any peripheral devices, software, or accessories. For example, not only can you write about a Zune but you can also write about anything related like cool new headphones/earbuds or the software you use to convert music or videos for your Zune. Digital cameras count too. So do pocket PCs and even the software you use to synch your devices to your PC or Mac.

The staff and I will review all entries and select a winner by Saturday 10 February. If your article is chosen and is subsequently published on PocketSync.com We will pay you 100 bucks cash. You can either be paid via PayPal, bank wire transfer, or an Amazon.com gift certificate. Not bad for an hour or so of work eh?

By submitting your product review to PocketSynch.com you are confirming that should your review be selected as the winner of the aforementioned contest you grant PocketSynch.com the exclusive rights to publish the work so long as credit is given to you in the form of an author blurb at the end of the review. A staff member of PocketSynch.com will contact the authors of any other submitted works that we may want to publish in the future. Non-contest winner submissions will not be published without the expressed written consent of the original author. We reserve the right to refuse participation by anyone for any reason allowable under U.S. law. The winner will be notified before his or her work is published. It is your sole responsibility to ensure you can accept payments via one of the methods indicated above. We will not make exceptions.
