Becker, a company in Germany, has introduced a new portable media player which has a few innovative features. The Becker Vision Pro 7985 looks to be available now, though it may never make it to the States except by importer.

The Becker Vision Pro 7985 sports a nice seven-inch widescreen display which is touch sensitive. You use this screen to control many of the functions of this PMP. It is interesting to note that this player has no built-in memory - it instead reads media off of SD/MMC cards and USB sticks. It does have a built-in DVD player as well.

Media format wise the Vision Pro 7985 supports a variety of options including MPEG-4, AVI, MP3, WMA, JPEG and BMP. It has a rechargeable battery which offers up to four hours of DVD playback under normal operating conditions. Built-in speakers and headphone jacks allow you to enjoy your audio and there’s also a built-in FM radio to further keep you entertained.
