It looks as if Philips has released some new portable media players in a flash memory player size and memory format. The SA3100 series consists of 1GB and 2GB memory configurations in black or white backings.

The Philips SA3100 series will let you enjoy upwards of ten hours of MP3 or WMA music or two hours of video playback via its rechargeable battery. It is capable of displaying SMV video up to QVGA resolution and offers included video convertor software for support of other video file types. The SA3100 models can also show off JPEGs on their 1.8-inch color screens.

While not overly exciting with additional features, the SA3100 players do offer up additional options such as voice recording, a digital FM tuner with 10 station presets, backlight display, USB 2.0 support and picture slideshow display mode.
