iRiver have revealed the T50, the successor to the popular iRiver T10. iRiver have followed on from the T10’s attempt to look a little different by designing the T50 in a sort of Toblerone style (or for the more mathematically minded, a triangular prism). You can have it any any color you want, as long as it’s black or white.
So anyhow, what features does this little pocket player have. Well for starters it has a respectable 1GB of storage, suitable for around 240 tracks, a tiny 1.01” 65,000 color display, an FM tuner and integrated voice recorder. Track navigation is handled by the mini-joystick on the front of the unit. The iRiver T50 supports MP3, WMA, DRM10 and OGG.
The main draw for the iRiver T50 is the exceptional battery life, expected to be an astonishing 52 hours of playback from a sing AAA battery.
Keep your eyes peeled for an April 15th 2007 release at around 9,980 yen ($85 US).
