It looks as if low key consumer electronics manufacturer Mustek has released a new portable media player. Its entry is called the PVR-H240 Plus and it’s being marketed through the company’s Yukai subsidiary as the PVR-H240.
The Mustek/Yukai PVR-H240 is being called a seven-in-one multimedia center. What this really means is that is has many primary features similar to other portable media players. These include digital video playback, digital video recording, digital photo display, digital music playback, digital voirce recording and a MMC/SD memory card reader.
All of these features are anchored by a 2.4-inch color display with adjustable brightness and a built-in 40GB hard drive which can record up to 125 hours of video or store upwards of 10,000 songs. You also get usual stuff like a rechargeable battery and USB 2.0 support.
Even with the 30 fps VGA quality AV recording, the Mustek PVR-H240 Plus still looks like a snoozer. Next.
