venzero-slickr.jpgVenzero, which brought us earlier in the month the Venzero Mini, is pushing a new portable media player now which is more in line to compete with the likes of the iPod nano. Venzero is dubbing this PMP the Slickr (?).

Strange name aside, the Venzero Slickr is typical of most flash-memory style portable media players you see on the market these days. Dimensions measure 8.55 x 5.5 x 0.98 cm and the player weighs 57 grams. It sports a 2.83-inch color TFT screen Venzero says is capable of displaying 1.6 million colors.

Perhaps the most notable built-in feature of this 2GB PMP is its MusicMarker function, which lets you record a short audio clip you hear of a song while out and about. You can later sync that clip with an online service to match the specific song. Beyond this things get really standard - MP3, WMA, WAV, AVI, JPEG and TXT media file format support, FM radio, preinstalled games and built-in voice recording.
